When you read a book you feed your mind.
When you read the Bible you feed your spirit.
You should be as eager to eat spiritually as you are to eat physically.
Something has been bothering me for a while, and I decided to say something.
It's about how you post online.
First off:
Do you really need to post that one comment disagreeing in the swarm of fans?
It's guaranteed to get you mobbed immediately.
But if you really have to:
WHY CAN'T YOU DO IT POLITELY?!
Saying: "dur, you all are idiots." Doesn't get you anywhere! It doesn't help your case, it just makes you look like an idiot.
Seriously, if you must disagree, flamming doesn't get you anywhere.
Secondly:
Why do you insist on being rude?
I don't care which one of you were rude first. You both are being immature jerks. Get over you
When you are so hungry the pain goes away.
When you are so tired that you can't sleep,
When you ach so bad your body goes numb.
When you cry so much that you just can't anymore,
When you gasp so hard and you only suffocate,
When you want something so bad that you can't get it,
When you work so hard but it never gets done.
When you try so hard, you just fail.
When you have something to say finally one cares to listen.
When you love someone so much and they only disappoint you.
When you do the best you can but you are never good enough.
When you want so bad to be part of the world you close yourself off.
When you scream so loud but
Grace Perfecting Strength in Weakness
"My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness"…He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. (2 Corinthians 12:9 and Isaiah 40:29-31)
When the subject of spiritual strength is raised, our thinking often turns in one of two directions. Either we consider how we can muster up our own streng
In my last journal, I mentioned how things weren't looking... well, possible.
My goals were looking unrealistic, and frankly: foolish.
For example, running a mile on an empty stomach seems like a challenge in its own right, but running a mile after not eating for six days? Seriously? I can hardly run a mile normally.
Oh, and here's the better part: something was telling me I was going to run it in around 12 minutes. Or less. My last mile the week prior was 12:40-something. Nearly 13 minutes. Wishful thinking? I thought so.
Then we have this Extreme Redesign contest. Draw something revolutionary up on the computer. Submit it and a descri
It was so strange, having the magi in our home. I had grown used to strange things, or at least as much as I could have. The same strange thing rarely happens twice, so it's rather hard to grow accustomed to.
But here they were, bowing before my little son, and presenting him with gifts meant for a king.
Jesus was just beginning to walk, and he did it with a confidence far beyond his skill. So, when he stood up to go investigate these curious men, he promptly overbalanced and fell to his bottom. Undeterred, he pushed himself up and tried again. When he got close enough, he sat down right next to the gold box and began inspecting it, en

Ask and You Shall Recieve
I asked for strength
He gave me trials to make me strong
I asked for wisdom
He gave me problems to solve
I asked for peace
He gave me conflicts to settle
I asked for answers
He asked me questions
I asked for joy
He showed me His Creation
I asked for love
He opened His arms
I asked for forgiveness
He gave me His Son
